eComm Developer Information

eComm Developer is relatively the same program as eComm Store/PRO. The interface is the same apart from two new, but powerful additions.

When stepping through the store creation wizard you will be prompted to enter in a "customer registration key" this key is what you will need to provide to your clients later on after the store is complete.

In placing the key with in the program this will build a store that is to use a separate account on the https:/ecomm.vendercom.com server. This is the secure server that all the orders placed with in the store will reside on.

The second new feature is with in the "BUILD" dialog of the program. This allows you to alter the "customer registration key" prior to building the store.

You can simply switch between multiple projects from with in eComm Developer. Simply save the current store, click on FILE - OPEN and select one of the other stores that you wish to work on. Each store will need to be developed with it's own unique "customer registration key" failing to do this, multiple orders will accumulate with in a certain account on the secure server.

How can your clients access there orders you ask? Packaged with the Developer bundle is an eComm Order Manager. This application works on a similar principle as an email client. Your clients/customers can install this program and provided they have been given there "customer registration key" they can login to https:/ecomm.vendercom.com and download there orders.
